Charlotte Uhlig

Charlotte Uhlig has over 35 years’ experience in scientific literature and patent research. With her academic basis in chemistry and hands-on scientific research, she has since dedicated her career to patent research in chemistry, pharmacy, AgroSciences, biotechnology, and biochemistry. Her special focus is on generic structural search (also called Markush search) on chemical compounds.

  • Group leader, CPA GLOBAL, Frankfurt, distribution of searches, agreements with customers, collaboration of the searchers and internal cooperation with Accounting
  • Principal partner, CPRS

She also carried out searches and is therefore very well versed in the use of the necessary databases (REGISTRY, CAPLUS, CASREACT, MARPAT, REAXYS, DCR, MMS, WPINDEX, Patbase, etc.) and all types of scientific searches from novelty search via Freedom-to-Operate research to opposition searches.
